Camouflage: On and Off the Runway

When you think camo you probably think hunting or armies but this year I've seen some camo on the runway, even if its not the kind of camo you'll see me wearing. I am a huge camo fan, I've got some hats and jackets with the pattern. But there's a huge difference between camo that you'll see in the designs of major fashion designers that are showcased on the runway and the camo that you'll actually see people wear.

One of the camo hats I proudly own is a Luke Bryan hat that I got at his concert. And another is from my favorite bar and restaurant in Nashville called the Wildhorse Saloon! I wish I could get there more!

What I found surprising is there is a good amount of camo this year on the runway from designers like Michael Kors, DKNY, Patrik Ervell, Mark McNairy, and many others.

Mark McNairy Fall 2013

Although that camo is slightly different than what you may see on my favorite show, Duck Dynasty!

What do you think about camo on the runway? How about off the runway? Let me know what you think!

Best Dressed at the Grammys

In watching the Grammy's the other night I really enjoyed a few things, the main one being that the Zac Brown Band won Best Country Album of the Year! :D Also, I was so happy with Carrie Underwood's exciting performance with her light up dress!

This gorgeous Theia light up dress consists of 10 yards of duchess satin, 100 yards of tulee & crinoline, and thousands of Swarovski Crystals. It took 4 people over 80 hours to make!

Now onto the top 5 best dressed on the red carpet!

Out of all the dresses that I liked, it was so hard to pic a top fave. I have to say I've thought about it for a really long time! So my top 5 aren't far apart from each other.

1. Taylor Swift in Grecian J.  Mendel gown with silver straps and chiffon drapes

2. Model Karlie Kloss in a simple blue Michael Kors dress.

3. Carrie Underwood in a Cavalli dress wearing a necklace reported to be 381 carat and worth 31 million dollars!

4. Rihanna in Azzedine Alaisa

5. Allison Williams wearing Kaufmanfranco embellished with black diamonds

Tell me what you think!! What were your faves?

Whats in for spring? Strong black and white geometric shapes!

So I've been looking at tons of the new collections for this spring/summer season and I've noticed a huge trend! Almost all of the big designers have been showcasing black and white geometric shapes in their clothing. This strong design and the contrast between black and white really makes these stick out and shine. Here are my favorite from top designers:

Michael Kors
Michael Kors
Marc Jacobs

Kate Spade
This trend is especially prominent in Louis Vuitton designs:

I love it! Tell me what you think of this rising trend <3

Wildfox Couture: Clueless Collection, AS IF?!

Currently my absolute favorite clothing collection is the Clueless Collection by Wildfox Couture! I don't know how many of you remember the movie Clueless, but if you don't its really a must see. The move is from the 90s and embodies 90s fashion beautifully as the main character is a rich and popular high school girl. Here are my favorite pics of the collection!

I think these clothes are just absolutely perfect! Lets all take a trip back to the 90s and shop wildfox couture!  Find their clueless line here

Tell me what you think! Have any faves? <3
