Angela & Roi is a handbag company created by a couple, Angela and Roi Lee, which is dedicated not only to making fashionable bags, but donating to charity. Their handbags are grouped by color, and each color stands for a cause. When you buy a handbag 5 dollars is donated to the charity corresponding to the color! All of their partners are non-profit organizations, so you know that all the money is really being used for good.

Kidecals: The Fashionable Label

Thanks to Kidecals, I was given the opportunity to try out beautiful fashionable labels! Kidecals has all things ranging from school labels, to canning labels, to wall decals, and even to keycals, which are stylish stickers for your laptop keyboard.

Searching their website I was amazed at how many label designs they had, and I immediately thought to get stickers for my blog! I searched through their round name labels and found the exact design I had envisioned. When you pick a label you like, you just type in what you want it to say and it shows up on the sticker on the website so you know exactly what you will get. You can change the size of the text as well as the position.
What I designed on their website!

Check out the stickers I received in the mail Saturday:

Aren't they so cute!!
I immediately put the sticker on my computer! (:

One of the coolest things on Kidecals was the keycals for sure! If you have a mac keyboard I would definitely recommend these. I'm getting a mac soon hopefully and I know the first thing I'll do is go to Kidecals and get my keycals!

This one is my favorite, like all Kidecals its waterproof! (Its also only 16 dollars, and they have tons of styles! Click here to check it out!)

For all my fellow bloggers I definitely recommend stickers with your URL, its a super cute addition to your computer! Also, check out everything else they have, labels for literally anything. Check out their website now! http://kidecals.com

Have a wonderful day!

Phone Cases Can Be Fashionable Too!

When you think of fashion you probably only think of clothes, shoes, bags, and other typical items of clothing or accessories. But when you really think about it, phone cases are a part of fashion, in fact, many designers have created a line of phone cases. I especially like Kate Spade's phone cases, as I have one on my phone right now! I've also used Kate Spade cases in the past and they are good cases, as well as being very fashionable.

The one on the right ($24.99) was the one I used to have and the one on the left ($40.00) is on my phone now!

Here are some more of my favorite designer cases that I plan to get in the future:

1. Coach Legacy Leather Molded Iphone 4 Case, $58 (Buy here)
2.  Coach Signature Iphone 4 Case, $38 (Buy here)
3. Ugg Jane Phone Sleve, $50 (Buy here)

Tell me what you think about these chic cases! Do you plan on getting some designer cases in the future?

To Buy A Pair of Shoes in 24 Hours: justfab.com

I just joined justfab.com which is a site where you can buy super cute shoes for just $39.95! Whats super crazy though is within the first 24 hours that you join everything is just $19.95. So here I am frantically searching the site for a pair, and I only have 24 hours....... so I need your help! Which pair should I buy?

I really love this boot because its simple, and has a heel (which I love!) Check it out here

This boot would be great because they'd be really warm and perfect for the winter, but I have no idea what color I would get! Check it out here

These boots are super cute, have a good heel, and I could wear them with a lot. But again, totally stumped with what color to get. Check it out here

What boots do you think I should get? I have to pick in less than 24 hours!

First Outfit Post: School Girl Vibe

This is my first outfit post! (: The other day I wore a plaid little skirt and a heavy sweater with some knee high socks and boots. Although not a school girl uniform, it could definitely look like one. My friend and I took tons of pictures of my outfit, here are my favorites:

We saw this cool light and shadows and had to take that opportunity to take some artsy pictures!

Get the look! Now I bought the skirt and sweater a while ago, so I'm not quite sure they're still for sale, but I did find a similar outfit and put it together on Polyvore. The boots, however, are from Aerosoles and I included in the Polyvore outfit.

Casual School Day

I would really love your opinion! Let me know what you think.

Christmas is Coming Soon!

Most of the time all my posts are only about fashion, and don't worry I'll incorporate fashion in this one too but I just thought I'd tell you I created a Christmas music Pandora station today and have been listening to it all day! I'm in such a Christmas mood and am feeling some Christmas spirit.

In this post I'm going to share two of my all time favorite Christmas songs and share with you a silly yet chic holiday outfit.

Its really so hard to pick my two favorite Christmas songs, as I probably love every single one of them, but here are two of my favorites.

Walking In a Winter Wonderland Wonderland by Bing Crosby:

My Grown Up Christmas List by Kelly Clarkson:

I created a cute little Christmas outfit on Polyvore and added some Christmas gifts as well! The "Have A Cherry Christmas" lip shine would be a super cute Christmas gift!
Let It Snow

I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday season! And I know it may be a little too early for thinking about Christmas, but it will be here as soon as you know it.

Stila: Color Me Glossy

Happy November everyone!! Hope your first few days in one of my favorite months has been going well. November is my birthday month, at the end of the month, and a few weeks ago I got an early birthday present from my aunt....... lip gloss!! She must know me well because I own probably over 50 tubes of lip gloss and I'm absolutely obsessed.

This new kind that she got me is by Stila and you can find it in Sephora! Don't worry, I got the link for ya right here! What's great about this lip gloss is it has flavors and scents so its super fun. This set has nine 0.45oz tubes in Cranberry, Persimmon, Melon, Dazzleberry, Wildberry, Strawberry Cream, Passion Fruit, Kaleidoscope, and Amaretto. My favorite is the Cranberry, as I usually love to wear red on my lips.

How I wear it: I love this gloss but it is really glossy and at times sticky so what I like to do is wear a base coat of Soft Lips Vanilla, or sometimes Raspberry, and then apply Stila gloss after. You can find Soft Lips at your drug store, but click here for their website.

I really recommend Stila, its a fun and cute gloss and there's a color for every occasion!

Happy November :)

What Goes With This? New Site Turns Online Shopping Into Absolute Perfection

In this day and age online shopping has become more common, but one of the problems is you don't get to have the luxury of your friends tagging along and giving their opinion. On the other hand its so easy to find things that you'd like to pair up with your outfits. Well, thanks to the site What Goes With This, http://whatgoeswiththis.co, one of the main concerns with online shopping has been eliminated!

What Goes With This is a site where you can talk to other fashionable and stylish people about what you buy before you buy it, how to accessorize an item, or what else to wear with a piece of clothing.

One thing that I think is awesome is you can post a dress, for example, and ask how you can add pieces of clothing and accessories to make the dress perfect for certain occasions, like a first date, a night in the city, or a casual shopping day! The fashion community on the site, as I've seen myself, has given great advice to people!

I just made an account yesterday and its been really hard to get off it! I've posted so far two dresses which I've asked people what they think would go with these dresses, as well as helped out a few people by posting recommendations on what they can pair with items to create a chic outfit!

Its free and takes two seconds to sign up! Sign up here, and then follow me here and I will follow all of you back.

This is what the homepage looks like! How cute is it! I love the pink <3

Make sure you check out the site, make an account, and share it with all your friends!

Colleen

Chill: Layers for chilly weather

In NYC the cold is coming, its windy and pretty much all around freezing. Lately I've been wearing layers on top of layers to prevent myself from becoming unbearably cold. I wouldn't say it's time for your heaviest jacket yet, but close to it. I've created an outfit on polyvore of something I would wear on a chilly day.

Chill: Layers for chilly weather

H&M plus size sweater, $40 / Leather sleeve army jacket, &246 / Topshop legging, $44 / H&M high heel ankle boots, $96 / Forever 21 black fringed shawl, $40 / DIESEL Army Green Paneled Tote, $200

Tell me what you think!

Best Dressed at the Emmys 2013

Good Morning beautiful people <3

Yesterday I was looking through the dresses celebrities wore during the Emmys and there were some that were completely stunning, yet others that made me cringe. I like to keep things positive here, so I'm only sharing the ones that are absolutely beautiful!

Number one, best dressed at the Emmys is Kaley Cuoco wearing Vera Wang. She's probably most known for currently being on the Big Bang Theory (since 2007) and Charmed (1996-2006). I love this dress because it has a perfect amount of sheer material around the waist, and the material at the bottom of the dress is layered and designer perfectly. I would buy this dress in a second!

I would have to say number two is Heidi Klum in a gorgeous Versace dress! It has a very interesting design and texture and, clearly, it looks stunning on her.

Third best dressed in my opinion is Kerry Washington in Marchesa. I think this dress is very pretty and I love the flower design going down the front of the dress and down the train. The second two little white bands under the top of the dress really create a great form as well!

For fourth best dressed is Giuliana Rancic in an embellished periwinkle gown. Not only is the shape and color of this dress beautiful, but it fits her body type and looks stunning.

My fifth favorite is Allison Williams in Ralph Lauren. Although this might seam like a forgettable dress, which I believe it might be, it still looks amazing on her and its better than many of the dresses I saw, which will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

Who do you think was best dressed at the Emmys? Do you like my choices? Let me know!

Loraimy Rodriquez NYFW 2013

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

I'm terribly sorry that I haven't been posting much, I promise I will post much more often! As some, but probably few, of you know I do some modeling and I had the pleasure to walk for Loraimy Rodriquez on September 10th modeling her new line during New York Fashion Week. Her line encompass stunning pieces that show off her hard work and dedication. I'll start by showing you the dress that I modeled during the show, then go on to showing you all my top 3 favorite pieces (besides the dress I wore, it would have to be my favorite, I am absolutely in love with it!) in no particular order! (It was so hard to pick!!)

This is me! <3 The Material of this dress is so elegant and I love how the design looks so simple yet when you look close at it you see the beautiful complexity of it.

Now for my favorite looks from the others! I have to tell you this took me quite a while to pick.

For one of my favorites I would have to pick this one, I really love the look of high wasted shorts with a shorter shirt.

Another one of my faves is a gorgeous long dress, which looked stunning on the model and worked perfectly with the little addition of the hat, and the little gold spikes on the shoulders added some edge to the elegance of the look.

Another favorite is simple fabric, yet an interesting shape, and again we see the gold spikes on the shoulders which add perfectly to this piece. And I love that bow! So cute.

Lastly this is me and some other models with the gorgeous designer Loraimy (third from the left) after the show!

Y'all should definitely keep up with Loraimy and her work, you can like her facebook page here
Also, all of these amazing photographs were taken by Eric Jaiju Lee, you can like his facebook page here.

Thanks for reading! Love ya :)

Camouflage: On and Off the Runway

When you think camo you probably think hunting or armies but this year I've seen some camo on the runway, even if its not the kind of camo you'll see me wearing. I am a huge camo fan, I've got some hats and jackets with the pattern. But there's a huge difference between camo that you'll see in the designs of major fashion designers that are showcased on the runway and the camo that you'll actually see people wear.

One of the camo hats I proudly own is a Luke Bryan hat that I got at his concert. And another is from my favorite bar and restaurant in Nashville called the Wildhorse Saloon! I wish I could get there more!

What I found surprising is there is a good amount of camo this year on the runway from designers like Michael Kors, DKNY, Patrik Ervell, Mark McNairy, and many others.

Michael Kors Fall 2013
camo print dress
DKNY s/s 2013

camo print mini dress
DKNY s/s 2013

Patrik Ervell Fall 2013
Mark McNairy Fall 2013

Although that camo is slightly different than what you may see on my favorite show, Duck Dynasty!

What do you think about camo on the runway? How about off the runway? Let me know what you think!

Best Dressed at the Grammys

In watching the Grammy's the other night I really enjoyed a few things, the main one being that the Zac Brown Band won Best Country Album of the Year! :D Also, I was so happy with Carrie Underwood's exciting performance with her light up dress!

This gorgeous Theia light up dress consists of 10 yards of duchess satin, 100 yards of tulee & crinoline, and thousands of Swarovski Crystals. It took 4 people over 80 hours to make!

Now onto the top 5 best dressed on the red carpet!

Out of all the dresses that I liked, it was so hard to pic a top fave. I have to say I've thought about it for a really long time! So my top 5 aren't far apart from each other.

1. Taylor Swift in Grecian J.  Mendel gown with silver straps and chiffon drapes

2. Model Karlie Kloss in a simple blue Michael Kors dress.

3. Carrie Underwood in a Cavalli dress wearing a necklace reported to be 381 carat and worth 31 million dollars!

4. Rihanna in Azzedine Alaisa

5. Allison Williams wearing Kaufmanfranco embellished with black diamonds

Tell me what you think!! What were your faves?
